The prospect of all the possibilities and the things to come is, I think, why bonding is such an intrinsic part of moving into a new office or a home. Everybody involved is more or less in the same state of mind. Anxious and excited. I couldn’t have asked for a better way to end my first week at fourseven services private limited, a manufacturer and retailer of hand crafted sterling silver jewellery, when I was invited to be a part of a little Diwali Pooja and a ‘Office-Warming’ get together on the 07th of November, 2015. The girls showed their creativity and patronage towards fourseven by putting together an epic Rangoli which had the company logo right in the center of it. There was even talk of the ‘Rangoli Ganesha Sterling Silver Charm’ all the while they decorated the Rangoli. We continued the festivities through a team lunch at the Navedyam Restaurant on the top floor of our office building. We even made a sincere attempt to make the rest of the day productive by being in denial about the but-natural somnolence after such a feast.
The culmination of the niceties and the nuances of people, who were strangers before and are now parts of the fourseven team in a new office, was too much to keep me away from comparing the office to a 925 sterling silver bracelet and each team member being a different and handcrafted charm being attached to the said bracelet. Each and every one of the team members has his/her own story to tell and each one of us brings different qualities and strength to the great ‘fourseven’ bracelet.
